Fueled by decades of peer-reviewed and hands-on hard science with real mobile machines, forged by dozens of global user cases, including some with Fortune 500 companies, our proprietary GIM SW Stack turns your mobile working machine into a full-blooded field & service robot and speeds-up your product development, opens new markets and saves your resources. We turn any mobile working machine operator into a field & service robot overlord.
Be part of the revolution.
GIM provides smart sensor fusion software for navigation and 3D mapping. The system is integrated to existing vehicles, including work machines and cars. It can also be attached to GIM’s robots, enabling completely autonomous data gathering.
Our navigation technology is based on observing the natural environment, so artificial infrastructure is not needed.
The magic behind GIM Robotics’ solution is our smart lidar-based positioning. Existing environment is 3D-mapped with a lidar or even with a radar. The same sensor is used to locate a vehicle with respect to the mapped area. This allows accurate positioning also in conditions where GNSS is not available. Both outdoors and indoors.
Our self-driving technology utilizes a set of sensors to detect and recognize obstacles even when the visibility is low. GIM’s multimodal obstacle detection can recognise both static and dynamic obstacles and track the trajectories of moving targets.
Positioning and obstacle detection stacks make it possible to plan a vehicle’s route and to avoid possible obctacles. The control stack executes the needed driving actions by controlling steering, acceleration and brakes to achieve the wanted target position smoothly and safely.
